Richard Ewen Architects’ current construction project on site is a two storey side extension with a large single storey kitchen/family living space replacing an existing two storey wing to the property and a pitched roof single garage. The project also comprises of a large roof conversion forming two additional bedrooms with lead cheek dormer windows and a new guest bathroom. In addition Richard Ewen Architects are remodelling the internal layout and interiors, working extremely closely with the client’s German Kitchen designer and supplier.

Construction work is progressing well on site. The clients are using a temporary repositioned kitchen at present. The foundations are now dug and the pre-cast concrete beams are now on order with a 7 week delivery period. The bricks are being carefully removed and stored on site for re-use and the footings will be poured early next week (beginning 4th July)soon after our first inspection from the Building Control Officer at London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBRUT).
